Important Information About the System Upgrade

On October 1, Southeastern CU will be upgrading its technology systems to better serve you, our valued member. We will be upgrading much of our back-office operations, making for a more efficient member service experience.
To best prepare for this upgrade, it will be necessary for us to close our branches at 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, September 30. Our branches will be closed on Tuesday October 1. We will be REOPENING on Wednesday, October 2 for regular business hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that all member services will be fully available to you at the start of business on Wednesday, October 2.
Our top priority is to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for all our members.

During the upgrade, all credit union branches will be closed from 5:00 pm EST on Monday, September 30, reopening on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, for regular business hours.
The following services will not be available from 5:30 pm (EST) on Monday, September 30 until the morning of Wednesday, October 2:
- Online Banking
- Mobile Banking
- Bill Pay
- Telephone Banking
Accessing funds during the upgrade:
- Use your ATM/Debit Card at any ATM or merchant location. (Note: you will not be able to make balance inquiries or balance transfers at an ATM. You will see a message “Transaction Currently Unavailable” should you try and perform any of these actions during the upgrade).
- Use your Southeastern CU Visa Credit Card
- Write a check
Upgrade FAQs
Are my funds still safe and secure? Yes, your funds remain secure. All Southeastern CU accounts will continue to be insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) for up to $250,000 per individual account holder. Refer to NCUA.gov for more information.
Is my personal data still safe and secure? Yes, your personal data and account information are safe and secure as always.
Will any part of my direct deposits, payroll deductions or automatic payments change? No, you should see no change in your direct deposits, payroll deductions, or automatic payments. Everything should still come into the same accounts and distribute to the accounts requested.
Will I be able to complete an online loan application during the upgrade? No, our online consumer loan and mortgage loan applications will NOT be available during the upgrade process.
Will I be able to make an online loan payment during the upgrade? No, online loan payments will NOT be available during the upgrade process.
Will the online chat feature on your website be available during the upgrade? No, the online chat feature NOT be available during the upgrade process.
Deposit Accounts
Will I have to order new checks? No, you will not need to order new checks.
Will the routing number change? No, the routing and transit number will not change. The Southeastern CU routing number is 261271500.
ATM/Debit Cards & Credit Cards
Will my ATM/Debit Card number and PIN change? No, your current Southeastern CU ATM/Debit Card number and PIN will remain the same. You will not be able to do balance inquiries or balance transfers at any ATM beginning beginning at 6:00 pm (EST) on September 30 until approximately 8:00 am on October 2. You will see a message “Transaction Currently Unavailable” should you try and perform any of these actions during the upgrade.
Will the upgrade affect my Southeastern Visa Credit Card? No, your Southeastern CU Visa Credit Card will not be affected. Your credit card will function as usual during and after the upgrade process.
Statements & eStatements
Will my account statements change? Yes, your savings and checking account statements will have a fresh, new, updated look. Statements are mailed to primary account owners only.
Will I receive paper statements or eStatements? With our upgraded system, if you have elected to receive eStatements for one or more of your accounts, all your account statements (for which you are the Primary Owner) will be eStatements.
Will my eStatement history be available in Online Banking & Mobile Banking after the system upgrade? If you are enrolled in eStatements prior to the system upgrade on October 1, your past eStatement history will migrate to the upgraded system.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Historical eStatements (prior to October 1, 2024), will be accessed in online banking by clicking on the "Notices" icon.
Online Banking, Mobile Banking & Bill Pay
Will the system upgrade change the Online Banking and Bill Pay service? No, Online Banking and Bill Pay will remain the same.
Will I still see all of my accounts in Online and Mobile Banking? Yes, you will see all of the accounts and some additional loan information will display.
Will I be able to see check images through Online Banking? Yes, after the upgrade on October 1, checks that clear after the upgrade will be available in online banking. For check images that cleared prior to the upgrade on October 1, please contact the Credit Union.
Will automatic payments to my loans continue as scheduled? Yes, after the upgrade your payments will continue to automatically transfer from your savings or checking account as requested unless you cancel or change the payment request.
Will I still receive the alerts I have set up in Online Banking? Yes, the alerts currently set up will stay the same as they are today.
Will account transaction history be accessible in Online Banking after the system upgrade? Yes, transaction history before October 1 will migrate to the upgraded system.
Will my scheduled bill payments be paid during the system upgrade? All online bill payments scheduled to occur during or after the upgrade will process normally. Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Bill Pay functionality will be available the morning of October 2.
Will my pending scheduled payments still be set up in Bill Pay? Yes, your scheduled payments will carry over. Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Bill Pay functionality will be available the morning of October 2.
Automated Telephone Service (ATS)
Will ATS Banking be available during the upgrade? No, ATS Banking will not be available during the upgrade. ATS functionality will be available the morning of October 2.
Will the ATS Banking phone number change after the upgrade? Yes, the new number to call after the upgrade will be 844-252-3783.
Will my PIN for ATS Banking change? No, when you call on or after October 2 to access ATS banking, you will use your current password/PIN.
